Bacaro Boat Tour in Venice
The “bacaro tour” is that particular Venetian ritual for which you enter different “bacari” (typical Venetian wine bars) to enjoy the famous “cicchetti” (Venetian finger food) accompanied by a little glass of wine (white or red) or a Prosecco glass or the famous spritz.
Why do you go to different bacari? Because every bacaro has its specialties! The idea is therefore to enjoy a variety of delicious appetizer ranging from fish to meat, cheeses and vegetables, salami and legumes, hot or cold, served on slices of bread or with polenta or alone … in short, it is impossible not to find something that does not satisfy your palate!
You will find dozens of bacaro tour proposals, but we propose you to do it by boat, rowing boat to be precise! How deeply Venetian of that?
Silently gliding along the canals, stopping occasionally for a break in a bacaro, combining the tradition of the rowing boat with the Venetian gastronomy.
At the same time, you can also try to learn how to rowing the Venetian style (thanks to a teacher from the “L’altra Venezia” Sports Association). In this case, in addition to making a direct experience of what was daily for thousands of Venetians, it is also useful to dispose of food and alcohol between a bacaro and the other 😉
